DescriptionVery weak constellation, largely wounded by Eridanus. It doesn't contain interesting objects, besides many galaxies which however are very weak and difficult to see.

Mythology
and history
The constellation was drawn by Nicolas Louis de La Caille in 1756. In the atlas of Johann Bode it is marked with the name of Apparatus Chemicus.
